Operators turned advisors
Interwoven Systems was founded in 2026 by Zack Wyatt to help governments, foundations, NGOs and companies turn siloed programs into systems that work together, and to prove the return on every investment.
Three threads, woven into one practice
For a decade, Zack ran Carolina Farm Trust, a Charlotte-region nonprofit that grew from an idea about land access into a 25,000-square-foot community food market, a network of urban farms and a farmer apprenticeship program. He learned what every food systems operator learns: the hardest problems aren’t agricultural. They are operational, financial, technological, political and human.
In parallel, Zack worked as a US Sales Director at Cambridge Technology, an enterprise IT and data services firm that helps organizations transform around cloud and AI. Same lesson from the other side: every technology project is really a people, process and systems-design problem.
Interwoven pairs that experience with deep community-building skill: collective impact design, certified facilitation and stakeholder engagement, drawn from more than a decade of work alongside governments, nonprofits and residents. Systems only change when the people inside them agree to change them together.
Interwoven is what happens when food systems, data and community building become one practice. We take ideas into strategy, strategy into implementation, implementation into impact, and impact into clear reporting. Then we keep analyzing the work until it delivers the outcomes our clients set out to reach.

Community building & facilitation
Zack works with a certified facilitator and community builder who has spent more than a decade connecting governments, nonprofits, small businesses and residents around shared goals.
That work includes collective impact and coalition design, facilitated convenings from small boards to 100+ people, stakeholder and public engagement, plain-language resource guides, and shared tracking that shows partners what is working.
