Approach

From ideas to impact, and back again

Every engagement moves through one continuous cycle. It never ends at a report. You can hire us for one stage or the whole loop.

The Interwoven cycle

Six stages, continuously refined

Stage 1

Ideas

Scattered ideas become a shared starting point.

  • System map of programs, money and people
  • The right people in the room
  • Priorities ranked together
Stage 2

Strategy

Ideas become a plan with owners.

  • Shared goals and theory of change
  • Governance and decision rules
  • Budget and roadmap
Stage 3

Implementation

Strategy becomes work people do on Monday morning.

  • Work plans, roles and timelines
  • Partner onboarding
  • Infrastructure and capital
Stage 4

Impact

Activity becomes results people can see.

  • Outcome measures agreed at the start
  • Tracked while the work runs
Stage 5

Reporting

Results become a story funders and the public trust.

  • Data systems that connect programs
  • Investment and ROI tracking
  • Dashboards and impact stories
Stage 6

Analysis

Reports become decisions.

  • Regular reviews of all the data
  • What to keep, change or stop
  • Fed back into strategy

Stage 6 loops back to Stage 2. Every cycle sharpens the strategy and moves the work closer to the impact you set out to make.

How we run engagements

Plainly, and in the open

01

We start by listening, not selling.

Every engagement starts with a free 45-minute conversation to see whether we are the right fit. If we’re not, we will say so and point you somewhere better.

02

We scope tightly and price clearly.

No 60-page proposals. Short scoping documents that name the deliverable, timeline, price and what you are responsible for. Where something is uncertain, we say so and propose a structured way to reduce the uncertainty first.

03

We measure from day one.

We agree on outcomes and measures before the work starts, so progress is visible while it happens and the return on your investment can be shown, not just claimed.

04

We do the work in the open.

You will know what is happening, weekly, in plain language: shared documents, regular check-ins, no surprise invoices and no big reveal at the end of a quarter.

05

We build for the people doing the work.

Strategy your team can’t carry out is wallpaper. Systems your team can’t operate are landfill. Every recommendation is shaped by who has to do it tomorrow.

06

We tell the truth, including the uncomfortable parts.

If the real problem is governance, not technology, we will say so. If a project doesn’t work at the price you’ve been quoted, we will say so. You are hiring us for honest counsel, not validation.
